[Quick Hit Black Gold] :
The Quick Hit Black Gold slot by Bally is a 5 reel, 30 payline machine that is designed to mimic the look and feel of classic physical slots while at the same time adding additional mechanics to spice things up. Did this strategy prove successful in creating a great slot? Read our Quick Hit Black Gold review to find out!
In terms of presentation, Quick Hit Black Gold looks exactly as you’d expect a Bally slot to look. The playing area is designed to mimic a classic Bally physical slot machine. The design of Quick Hit Black Gold is clean, simple, and without any unnecessary bells or whistles. The symbols consist of vintage slot machine staples, such as card ranks, bars, cherries, liberty bells, and lucky 7s. The music and sound effects help further develop the casino atmosphere.
For the most part, the Quick Hit Black Gold slot plays like a classic fruit machine, but Bally has peppered it with interesting mechanics to keep things fresh. These mechanics are represented by the game’s three special symbols: Quick Hit, Free Game Fever, and Black Gold. Getting three, four, or five Quick Hit symbols on the reels awards you with an additional payout. Matching three Free Game Fever symbols starts the Quick Hit Black Gold free spins bonus game. The Black Gold symbol works as a simple wild that can replace all symbols except Free Games Fever and Quick Hit.

Quick Hit Black Gold is one of my favorite slot machines in the series. The slot sticks to classic gameplay and doesn’t have any crazy mechanics. The minigame before the free spins round is the only thing that you couldn’t find in a classic slot machine from 50 years ago, but I don’t find it offensive at all.
It’s like having a physical Las Vegas slot machine at home! I enjoy playing real Quick Hit Slot machines at casinos. These only versions give me close to the same exact experience at home. The atmosphere is, of course, not the same, but that’s a price you have to pay for convenience. While it will never be the same as the real machine for me, it comes very close.
